Welcome Note

Ok as promised, I am starting my food blog and the whole idea of this blog is to share good food to eat around Klang Valley and if possible around our lovely country. Not only my intention to share about food but also about the nice places you can go to eat. I am not being paid for advertising for them ( I think I should ) but since I been there, why not I share it with your guys. What is good we share, what is bad we keep it too ourselves.. That is my motto..

Hope you will enjoy the blog and if you guys got any other nice place to eat please do share with me.

Before I forget, I have to give all credit to my lovely wife for taking me to all these nice places, without her this blog will not be possible. Thank you dear.

So enjoy the mouth watering blog..

Kluang Station.. Bandar Utama - Special..

Today we will stop by at Kluang Station in Bandar Utama. I think this worth sharing partly because I don't see other Kopitiam sells this. It called Roti Canai Susu Kaya. It actually a Roti Canai with Kaya and Condensed milk pour on top as toppings. For those who loves to eat something that is sooooo sweet (like me), you should try this.. Look at the picture, issin it looks yummy..
Another specialty which other kopitiam don't have, I think, is the ice cream coffee. It an ice coffee with Vanila ice cream. The taste, fantastic.. it has a strong coffee taste and make the taste smooth with the vanila ice cream. It is really hard to describe unless you try it for yourself.
So next time when you are around there, you should this esp. during tea time .

Govind's - Klang

Ok our First stop today is in Klang. My wife told me she want to take me to some good dinner in Klang. We got lost looking for the place since she only been there once and it during the day. Then after calling her friend we finally managed to find it. It is an Indian Food Shop called Govind's. Well I must say it easy but hard to find. You can see the shop from the main road but you cannot enter from the front. You have to go thru some housing area and park behind. The shop is actually a bungalow house converted to a makan shop.
As you can see on the picture above, that the back of the shop and parking are limited since the shop is so big. Not worry though, you can park near the housing area and walk abit.

The shop layout is pretty impressive. It has a very nice water fountain and a pond. Surrounding the pond are the table and chair and you can choose either to sit outside on wooden stile or inside the shop with Air-Cond. Most customers prefer to sit outside because of the nice scenery.

The atomsphere is very lively there, with water gushing and fountain water shooting. When we were there, there was a small birthday celebration.

The only slack about is their service. We have to call many time before we get any response but that will compensate for the good food so no worries there. The price are reasonable, not cheap, not too expensive and they have many variety of Indian cuisine.

The chicken wrap is nice (Pic on the right). It is wrap with Pratha bread with chicken, vege and plug with a tooth pick.

We also had Mutton Naan. I dont think we can't find that anywhere near. It is wrap with Mutton in the Naan. We then try out the Chicken Tandoori. Honestly speaking this is one of the best tandoori I have tried before (and no, they are not paying me to say this).

It comes with the standard "tandoori must-have", mint sauce and onion. The taste is really delicious and the thing that make so yummy is, I guess is because the chicken is very soft unlike the mamak shop tandoori which is quite hard ( Those mamak shop owner who is reading my blog, no offence ya).

If you ever decide to go to Govind's and love Masala Tea, you must try their's. For those who dunno what is Masala Tea, it tea that uses cow's milk instead of the normal condensed or powder milk. I had two cups and rasanya ......... sedap...

There are many more on the menu that we are yet to try but don't worry we will be back again for more story tell.
Ok Now for location.. this place is located in Klang near Bayu Perdana. It is actually at the traffic light intersection on the road to Port Klang near the La Salle School.
For those of you who has GPS, just punch in the coordinate N 03° 1.675' E 101° 25.617' and you should be good to go.
Ok till we meet again, Have fun!
